Public Notice of Hearing Regarding the Torrance County Economic Development Plan

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TORRANCE COUNTY, NEW MEXICO

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Torrance County, New Mexico, will hold a Public Hearing on October 14, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The hearing will be held in the Commission Chambers at the Torrance County Administrative Offices, located at 205 S. Ninth Street, Estancia, NM 87016.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comments, review, and consider revisions of the Torrance County Economic Development Plan. The plan outlines goals, policies, and target initiatives designed to promote economic growth, support local business expansion, diversify the regional economy, and improve job creation throughout the county.

All interested parties are invited to attend and will be given an opportunity to voice their opinions, submit testimony, or offer recommendations regarding the plan.

Written comments will also be accepted prior to the hearing. Please submit written feedback to the Torrance County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 48, Estancia, NM 87016, or via email to sreynolds@tcnm.us no later than Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
