Three Torrance County Fire and EMS Members Complete EMT Training

Three members of Torrance County Fire & EMS have completed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training through the Socorro 2025 class, marking a significant professional milestone for the department.

The EMT course required 196 hours of instruction and hands-on training, which the graduates completed over several months beginning in September. According to the department, the training reflects an ongoing effort to strengthen emergency medical response capabilities in Torrance County.

The graduates are Brandon Myers, Thomas McLaughlin, and Victor Diego. All three have since enrolled in Fire Academy training, with certification expected in the near future.
