Mountainair Public Schools Seeks New Board Member
The Mountainair School Board is accepting letters of interest from individuals interested in serving in Position 4 on the Mountainair School Board.
Letters of interest must be submitted in person to the Mountainair Central Office, 801 W. Main Street, Mountainair, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Letters may be submitted in any format, including handwritten, but must clearly state the applicant’s interest in serving on the Board. Each submission must include the applicant’s full name and phone number.
Applicants must be registered voters residing within the Mountainair School District.
School board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings and complete all required trainings in accordance with state law. This is a non-paid position.
The Mountainair Public Schools Board of Education will make the appointment to Position 4 during its May 26, 2026, board meeting.
