Mountainair Christmas Tree Lit

On Sunday, December 11, 2022, Mountainair held its Christmas Tree Lighting. Attendees described the event as charming, with roughly 20 to 25 people present at the island across the street from Mountainair Elementary School. Mayor Nieto and his family shared hot chocolate and candy canes with the crowd that braved the cold. Mountainair is continuing its holiday celebration with a donation drive to benefit home-bound seniors through December 19, 2022 (those interested in donating can contact 505-603-9999 for additional information).
