Torrance County Sheriff's Office: Jeremiah Sanders, Wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Torrance County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is currently investigating allegations of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against Jeremiah Sanders. According to Undersheriff Stephanie Reynolds, Sanders is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on the morning of September 20, 2023. At that time, TCSO deputies responded to a call of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Estancia, NM. Deputies report that Sanders shot several times at another vehicle, striking that vehicle twice.

Sanders is driving a white 2007 Toyota Camry with New Mexico license plate PHS 167. Sanders was born on July 11, 1978, is 5'10", 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.  

TCSO cautions the public not to engage with Sanders, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.  If a member of the public sees Sanders or his vehicle, please contact 911.
