Bethel Community Storehouse Prepares Holiday Food Boxes as Demand Rises
November 7, 2025 - Volunteers at the Bethel Community Storehouse have been hard at work assembling grocery boxes for both the nonprofit’s regular food distributions and its annual turkey donations. With the federal government shutdown continuing, staff say the need for baby formula has sharply increased, adding new pressure to the pantry’s shelves. As holiday demand grows, the organization continues to rely on community support, donations, and volunteer labor to meet the needs of local families.
The Storehouse, which serves families throughout the Estancia Valley and surrounding communities, continues to offer several forms of assistance to qualifying households. Clients must provide picture ID, proof of current physical address, and proof of income or a referral.
